Annual Report

SnyderThe Records Bureau is staffed by three individuals: an Information Systems Specialist; a Records Clerk; and a Data Entry Clerk.  It is the responsibility of the Records Clerk to respond to requests for:

  • copies of police and accident reports
  • freedom of information requests
  • insurance company requests
The Information Systems Specialist is responsible for the overall operation of Department's computer systems (hardware and software), and oversees the functions of the Records Bureau.  The Data Entry Clerk enters all police generated complaints and reports into the Department's Records Management System. Each member of the Records Bureau is cross-trained and capable of handling routine requests, and performing data entry. As a result, there is always someone available to meet the public’s needs.
