 Chief of Police Kevin Sagan has been a member of the Madison Heights Police Department since 1986. He has earned a bachelor of arts in Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University and is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University’s School of Police Staff and Command.
With more than 16 years of experience, his tenure has given him a wide variety of experience including assignments with the Accident Investigation Team, Field Training Unit, Motor Carrier Enforcement Unit, Special Investigations Unit and command experience as a Patrol Sergeant and Shift Commander. In 1999, he was promoted to Deputy Police Chief and in 2001 he became the Chief of Police. Chief Sagan is a lifelong resident of Madison Heights.

 Deputy Chief of Police Anthony Roberts has been a member of the Madison Heights Police Department since 1990. During his career as a patrol officer he has been been assigned to the Field Training Unit, Special Investigations Unit, and the Curtail Auto Theft Unit. His experience as a command officer include: Field Training Unit Supervisor, Sergeant of the Curtail Auto Theft Unit, Road Patrol Sergeant, and Shift Commander. Deputy Chief Roberts is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University's Police Staff and Command and he has received a Bachelor Degree from Central Michigan University in Community Development: Public Administration.
